RadPix MIRC Authoring Tool - Preferences

**Preferences - Server Options**
Save to Web Server	Checkbox to Save to Web Server. Enter a valid MIRC server and Storage Service in boxes below, then click button Validate MIRC Server to activate this checkbox.
Server Type	Radio Button to select MIRC Server or MyPACS.net

**Preferences - MIRC Server Options**
Base MIRC Server URL	Enter URL for MIRC Web Server. Do not include trailing "/".
MIRC Storage Server Name	Default is "mircstorage". If uncertain, go to your MIRC query page with a browser, and look at the URL in the address box. For instance, "http://www.myMIRCserver.com/mircstorage/mirc/query". In this example, the storage service name is mircstorage.

**Preferences - MyPACS Options**
MyPACS Server URL	Enter MyPACS.net URL.

**Preferences - MIRC Options**
Background Color	Either a light or dark background may be selected. When the case is viewed on the MIRC server, the background will be either white or black. A black background works best if the cases will be displayed on a projector.
Max Image Size	All images will be resized to this value for presentations. The original image can also be uploaded.
Upload Original File	The original image (DICOM, RadPix compressed DICOM, TIFF, JPG, etc. can be uploaded.
Display Format	The MIRC system can display cases in several formats, Page, Basic Tab, Tab with Annotations. The selection for Image or RadPix icon can be selected which will either show a thumbnail of the images on the screen, or a default RadPix icon. For showing cases as unknowns, the RadPix icon may be best.

**Preferences - Watermark**
Watermark Images	Checkbox to select if images will have watermark. A text watermark can also be added.
Text Watermark	Enter text to be watermarked over bottom of image
Image Watermark	Drop down menu to select location to place image watermark. The image used for watermark must be a bitmap (.BMP) file, and it must be located in the RadPix program directory (default c:\Program Files\RadPix).
Image Watermark Size	Select relative size of watermark image to source image.

**Preferences - PC Config**
Save to this PC	Save MIRC documents to the local PC. Click select folder button.

**Preferences - Edit Options**
Use Spell and Grammar Checking	Checkbox to use Microsoft Word for spell and grammar checking. Word must be installed on the PC for this to be available.
