DICOM Image Properties

In DICOM images, every field in the header has a predefined group and item number that are clearly outlined in the DICOM standard. This dialog will show every item in the Image header. Some group and items are proprietary to the Scanner/Workstation manufacturer. If proprietary items are in the header, the Description Field will display as ?????????.

Tthe format of each line of the output is

1. (xxxx,yyyy) - Group and Item of the Data, i.e. (0008,0080)
2. [zz] = Field length, i.e. [28]
3. Description of Field, i.e. Institution Name
4. Data for the Field, i.e. Institution
