| The Measure Tool is used to make distance measurements on the
image. The program reads the Field of View (FOV) from the Image header and uses this to
compute the length of a line drawn on the Image in centimeters. If there is no FOV
information in the Image header, the units of measure are pixels. To make a measurement on an Image, select the Measure Tool, then left-click at the starting point for the measurement and drag the cursor (with the left-button down) to the ending point. If you have Image Tool Tips enabled, a yellow box will track with the cursor showing the current length measurement and delta X and delta Y measurements. In addition, the status bar at the bottom of the RadPix Main Window will display these values. If you have enabled Show Annotation On Image, the selected annotations will also appear on the image. Right Click on the image or the Measure Tool icon, and the Measure Tool Popup Menu will appear - see below. When the Measure Tool is active, the Cursor looks like this: |
