| This command will create a Windows AVI [Audio-Video Interlaced]
Movie of all of the currently loaded images. The images are sorted alphabetically and
added to the AVI in that order. All images should have the same dimensions or unknown
results will happen. The AVI can be compressed or uncompressed depending on the CODEC
selected. You can either export the entire image, or have a selected region exported from
every image. Note that all of the source images have to have the same dimensions. |

After you press the OK button, you will be given the option to select a Video Compression Codec. The Codec is used to compress the images into the AVI and to decompress the AVI when the AVI is displayed. This will make the AVI file smaller than the original set of uncompressed images. Each CODEC uses a different compression algorithm and video quality and size may vary. In order to be able to view the AVI file on another computer, you will need to make sure that the same Codec that was used to create the AVI is installed on that computer. If you are unsure, it is recommended that you select Full Frames [uncompressed], as any PC should be able to view the AVI. Here is an
example of the Video Compression Dialog with Full Frames (Uncompressed)
selected. |
