ClearHeader2.gif (302 bytes)    Clear Image Headers

Many medical images contain confidential Patient Information in their headers. Use this command to change this information in an entire directory of images to something more anonymous. Use the Image Properties dialog to view the information in the image header to verify that the headers have been properly cleared.

NOTE: This command does not change the directory name, so to remove all confidential patient information, the directories must be renamed in WIndows Explorer.

NOTE: Some images contain patient information as part of the image itself, and RadPix is unable to identify or conceal this information. The user should verify that all patient information is removed from these images before they are used.
